The Forest District Nowa Sól is located within the territorial range of Zielona Góra Forests and some part of Bory Dolnośląskie area. Such location gives possibility to observe a lot of different forests sites (habitats), what increases attractiveness of this area.

The district is equipped with roads and paths  network for cyclists, hikers and runners.

In the Forest District, there are very interesting areas for birds observation (among others  species) such as:

●     common kingfisher,

●     grey-headed woodpecker,

●     hoopoe,

●     red kite,

●     black kite,

●     black stork,

          ●     white - tailed eagle.
